Initial User Group Backgrounds
The following is a description of the selected user group along with several initial sketches. These sketches were done as part of a brainstorming exercise to identify rough opportunities for product development.
Groups/Families communicating across distances
With distances growing between family members, there is a growing desire to stay in contact with friends and loved ones. This is true especially in the early 20's age group, who feel unable to maintain the level of affiliation and communication they desire with friends and family.
This said; we would like to explore creating a communication device that targets these users to afford audio, visual, and email communications. This communication would allow family members away from the home to stay connected to family and friends from home and college, while still maintaining freedom and independence.
