Brian

Brian is a 38 year old single (married to his job), businessman who was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA. He received his bachelor’s in political science from Georgetown University and now resides in Washington, DC.  After graduation, he dabbled in political consulting in Washington, DC, but having never established a strong desire for the cutthroat world of politics, he decided to go to culinary school and fulfill his life-long dream of becoming a chef (as he loves food) and open up his own restaurant based near his college friends in Washington, DC.

Brian's a strong and confident man - very motivated and professionally driven, values that stem from a strong family upbringing. His parents and older brothers still live in Philadelphia, and while he doesn't visit as often as they would like his to, he maintains regular communication. Brian has a strong work ethic, but he makes time to enjoy life - often organizing outings with the his friends and brothers and frequently treating himself to try new restaurants near the Bay. Brian is an effective communicator, assertive but not pushy, ambitious but still trustworthy. While he is able to hold his own in the largely old boys club environment in DC, he seeks validation and respect from his peers.

Brian is well-connected to the world (necessary in his line of work to stay on top of current events), with a healthy interest over a wide-variety of topics, allowing him to participate in political discussions at work as well as other current events. Brian cultivates an environment in which things run smoothly, whilst he feels competent and confident, and which affirms both his professional and personal choices. He strives to maintain a strong work ethic and create a nice environment for his employees; he wants to be seen as trustworthy, conscientious, and caring by his peers; and maintain strong relationships with family and friends.
