I need help
now with:

88-272: Application Design & Development. This course helps students understand the design process and provides them with the concepts needed to design and develop effective software applications. The student will gain background in applying a user-centered design process through the development of a prototype application. Topics include user centered design and development; data storage and manipulation; structured query languages; and the development of web-based applications.

Course Documents: Here students can access the course syllabus, schedule, class assignments, and other materials regarding official course policies.

Announcements: All class announcements are posted on this page. Students are encouraged to check this page on a regular basis.

Lectures: I post the PowerPoint slides used in all the lectures I give in 88-272. There is a delay between the lecture date and the time it is posted and additional material may be added to the lecture which may not be reflected in the posted notes. Hence, reading the lecture notes at this site are not a substitute to attending lectures.

Labs: I also prepare additional materials for my lab section (Thursdays @ 9am) that are posted here for future reference. Again, the materials here are designed to supplement the labs, not replace them.

Topical Help: I have assembled materials from my own teaching files as well as some good web sources (why reinvent the wheel?). Many of these materials can be accessed directly from the menu on the left; additional help pages will be added, however, as time allows and will be placed on this part of the site. If you can't find what you want on the menu, check out this page.

These pages are relevant for the Fall 1999 semester.
Any questions or problems with these pages should be sent to Professor H.
