Welcome to Prof. H's Personal Pages. These pages are designed to give students and other visitors a little background information about myself. To be honest, I don't have the time to do much with this section, so I'm just putting on some pictures of my family and a few links for now. More will follow as time allows.

Alex (red); Mark (white), An (the only woman); and me (the guy in glasses) My family: My four favorite people in the world are in the picture to the left. I am madly in love with my wife An (who grows more beautiful in my eyes with every passing year) and we've been married now for 12 years.

For those who might think that I am misspelling my wife's name, be assured that I am not. The spelling of her name is a reflection of her cultural heritage. An may have only one "n" in her first name, but she has two in her last name now! :-)

I first met An in high school, but we didn't date then; we were just friends. Starting our relationship off on a friendship basis (for such a long time!) has helped us become best friends in marriage.

Together we have two wonderful boys, Alex and Mark. They are 6 year old identical twins.
Here is another picture of just the boys. Alex has a bandage on his chin. Although they look alike, their personalities are quite different.

Alex grasps abstract concepts well and is a quick learner and fast talker. He is also full of laughter & fun and is a creative story-teller. He loves to fish and play chess, just like his daddy!

Mark is very concrete in the way he perceives information. He is more diligent in his work ethic and has good mechanical abilities (an engineer in the making!). Mark is also a great artist -- my office walls are covered with his pictures. :-)

Their smiling faces are sunshine to my soul!

It's a PC world (in more ways than one!),
but I admit that I still prefer a Mac.
The powerhouse of HTML editors...
And great for MacPerl, too.
