This course addresses the use of the computer in architectural design and visualization. Introductions to three classes of software; page layout, image manipulation, and solid modeling, provide the foundation for design exercises. A lecture coupled with lab sections provide hands-on instruction. The first four weeks of the course cover a general introduction to computing environments and fulfills the University Computing Skills Workshop requirement. Course open to students in other disciplines.
