21-770 Introduction to Continuum Mechanics

Units: 12.0 Department: Mathematical Sciences Related URLs: http://www.math.cmu.edu General discussion of the behavior of continuous bodies with an emphasis on those concepts common to the description of all continuous bodies. Specific examples from elasticity and fluid mechanics. Familiarity with analysis in finite dimensional spaces will be assumed.
