This course includes advice and instruction on the preparation and showing of a portfolio, but also guides that process through a greater understanding of personal skills, interests and professional goals. The portfolio should be the centerpiece in the communication of you as an individual and you as a contributing colleague. The course will instruct and guide in how to communicate a more comprehensive representation of you as an individual through the portfolio and other forms of employment communication such as resumes, cover letters, thank-you notes, web-sites, and verbal conversation. This course is open to juniors, seniors and grad students in the School of Design.
