In this course, students will learn abou the history of the fame of soccer, or what most of the world refers to as "football." This will include a deeper look at soccer's governing bodies, the major competitions, the game's rules, it's greatest games, teams and players, it's biggest problems, and finally an intense look at how the sport impacts culture and transcends global boders. It will also analyze why soccer has not become as popular in the US, yet.
