98-011 Student Taught Courses (StuCo): Figure Skating

This course is an introduction to the sport of figure skating. Although some of the time will be spent in a classroom learning basic concepts, the focus of the course will be on developing skills used in figure skating through on-ice instruction and practice. This course will be continued the following semester, students from previous semesters are welcome. Costs for skates per week will be $2 per student. Costs for ice time will vary based on class size. The course will require about 1 hour of work per week, outside of class.
