Don't forget about the Halo tournament next Thursday, the first day of mid-semester break. If you'd like to check out the posters that we're putting up around campus, here they are in PDF format:
We'll see you at the tournament!-- posted by Jason Weill on 2/28/2002.
First, congratulations to Jan and Eli, the first and second place winners of our Tekken Tag Tournament on February 23. There were 24 participants in the double elimination ladder, and over 30 people present watching the matches. Many thanks to Julian and Charley for letting us borrow their PS2s for the event.
Next week, during mid-semester break, join the OGS for a Halo event on two giant screens in Hunt Library! The event will be held on Thursday, March 7 in the Hunt Orchard computer cluster. Sign-ups begin at 1:30 PM. This will be a four-on-four tournament, with three single-elimination brackets in CTF, Slayer, and King of the Hill. Up to eight teams will play in each ladder, but teams can play in multiple ladders if there is room. There will be cool Xbox prizes for the winners.
If you have any questions, please e-mail ogs@andrew. Good luck!
