Barrio has been on the air since 1995, when it launched as Revista Radial Latinoamericana. It took the name Barrio Latino in 2008, thanks to the vision of Martha Mantilla. When we say “Barrio Latino is the only neighborhood in Pittsburgh where only Spanish is spoken,” we mean it — we go way back.
