I am a research software specialist in the Biomedical Apps Team at the Pittsburgh Supercomputing Center (PSC) tinkering with technology in scientific related projects. At the moment I am involved in HuBMAP, The Brain Image Library and on occasion, with the National Center for Multiscale Modeling of Biological Systems.
Before joining PSC, I was a Sr. research programmer/analyst for the Murphy Lab at the Computational Biology Department in the School of Computer Science.
I enjoy writing or contributing to open source projects, reusing old tech, playing with new tech, cooking and listening to good music.
