*** Prep for meeting with President Cohon, Dec 16 (Tuesday) at 4pm.
PWR will meet:
Wednesday December 10th, 5pm, UC 3rd Floor (plaid room w/couches)
We've got a LOT to do! Its reading day, so come!
Agenda/to-do items include:
* Organize and finalize petitions. (BRING EM! if you need to
download one at the last minute, it is here:

* Coordinate support from other student orgs, grad students and faculty.
(bring people to this meeting if you can!)
* Update from the workers and union, getting workers involved in the
meetings with admin.
* Making contact with the petition signers as a follow up.
* Press release, future event planning.
* Follow-up with Jay/Trademark ofc.

On December 10th, International Human Rights Day, the AFL-CIO, Jobs with
Justice and Independent Unions are holding a national day of action on the
right to organize and collectively bargain.
In Pittsburgh, the United Steelworkers of America, the Service Employees
International Union Local 3, the Allegheny County Labor Council and
Pittsburgh Jobs with Justice are sponsoring a "Workers' Rights Tour" to
highlight violations of workers' rights right here in our hometown.
Buses will leave from the Steelworkers' Building downtown (corner of Blvd
of the Allies and Stanwix St.) at 8:30am and will return there at
approximately 12 noon.
