A Festive Violet Pulse is the final movement of MOZAIKA, an orchestral suite composed by a committee of five composers from the Pittsburgh area. The work was commissioned by the P.S.O. to welcome its new music director, Mariss Jansons. The other four movements were composed by Erik Moe, Leonardo Balada, David Stock, and Michael Moritz.
