Itinerary: We spent our first day on a guided tour of the principal locations in the old city of Istanbul. We then flew to Ankara and joined a group guided tour with 15 other people on a bus. Three days were in central Turkey (Cappadocia) and another four on the Aegean coast. We then had a day and a half in Istanbul before flying home (~24 hrs from the Istanbul hotel to home in Pittsburgh!)
