ADVANCED PDP: ARTISTS' BOOKSThis course is designed to give students an introduction to artists' books, on a technical as well as conceptual level. We will address issues related to the book which include the relationship of content to the use of materials, scale, design of pages, use of text and image, physical interaction with the book, presentation, and sculptural presence. The class will also focus on developing technical skills related to artists' books with demonstrations of several types of bindings and their applications.
