54-702 Music Reading for Drama Technicians

Units: 6.0 Department: Drama Cross-listed: 54-380 , 54-480 , 54-802 Related URLs: http://www.cmu.edu/cfa/drama/ This course is designed to prepare drama technicians for the basics of musical score reading. The students will work primarily with piano/vocal scores but will also be presented with orchestral scores. Music from the musical theater, opera and ballet repertory will be studied. Interfacing with current projects on campus and in the community will be provided as permitted.
