This course is an exploration of techniques and practices of Technical Designers. The class has four main components: an exploration of the types of strategies used by Technical Designers to arrive at solutions, building an expert vocabulary for discussion of technical design issues, development of actual technical solutions, on paper, in discussion, and in the shop, discussion of any pertinent technical issues for any of the school productions while in development. Pre-requisites/Co-requesites: Technical Direction or instructors permission
