An advanced introduction to computational molecular biology, using an applied algorithms approach. The course will survey established algorithmic methods. Emerging problems in computational genomics will be covered through course projects and readings from the primary literature. This course is appropriate for graduate students in all areas and for advanced undergraduates. The course can also be taken as a 9-unit undergraduate course
