79-379 Women in American History

Units: 9.0 Department: History Related URLs: http://www.history.cmu.edu This course explores the history of women in the United States since the mid-eighteenth century. We will examine the experiences that American women shared as they attempted to establish public and political power in changing historical circumstances. Our discussions will include the experiences of minority women and women of color as well as women from different classes and regions.
