This course introduces students to the Computer-Electronic Music Studio and to elementary techniques of composition utilizing the synthesizer and other sophisticated electronic equipment. Different digital and analog devices such as tape recorders, mixers, various synthesizers, as well as a range of computer music software will be demonstrated and discussed. Required for composition majors.
