This course will explore the hightly controversial philosophy of the contempory thinker Peter Singer. Students will examine Singer's views on such topics as abortion, euthanaisa, world poverty, vegetarianism and others. Student will grapple with each on these interesting and important issues in the class and learn why Singer has been dubbed "the most important philosopher alive."
