This course is designed to guide the student through the theory and application of quality improvement in management. Through readings, group discussions and practical exercises, the student will have the opportunity to understand the theoretical foundations of quality improvement, and also to apply those principles to practical issues in institutional and organizational management. Methods for process improvement group problem solving, and interdisciplinary team management will be the focus of class exercises.
