Fall: 6 units DESCRIPTION: Fall only. Designed to develop hand/eye coordination and a keen awareness of how the student sees and interprets the world. Marker, graphite and pencil mediums. Rigorous and discreet exercises develop the use of contour, line weight, positive/negative, geometric shape, proportional measures, and various techniques associated with the mediums. Architecture, humans and other natural forms are studied and drawn. Final project requires design ability and non-literal invention. PRE-REQUISITES: Major in Drama, Design, Art, Architecture FOR: First year graduate costume majors and upper level undergraduates with declared majors. Non-major Design and Drama students and all others by Instructor Approval only.
