This course reviews the first and second laws of thermodynamics, the kinetic theory of transport processes, the Maxwell relations, and the application of the laws of thermodynamics to various systems including jet engines, solar electric devices, air liquefiers, liquid oxygen generators, absorption refrigeration systems, piezoelectric transducers and others. 4 hrs. lec.
