Campus lockers free for the taking
03.30.04 01:19 am | by Whitney Hess

Did you know that those lockers all over campus are actually meant to be used? I always thought they were relics of the good ol’ days before book bags. Turns out they’re available for our use, though I suspect few people are taking advantage of them. So go ahead, pretend you’re back in high school and give your shoulders a rest.

Lockers are free, but you’ll have to buy your own lock. If you want to use a locker in Doherty or Porter Hall, call Alpha Phi Omega at x8-2116. Lockers on the 3rd floor of CFA are not exclusively for CFA students; they are first-come, first-serve, and no registration is required. The lockers in the basement of the University Center are meant for commuter students, so you need to register at the UC Info Desk, and your belongings must be removed at the end of every day.

All other lockers must be cleaned out at the end of each academic year. If you don’t remove your lock, they’ll surely do it for you, so don’t forget.
