Instructions:

If a first time user, follow these simple steps to start posting on to the bboard -
  1. First, you have to register.
  2. Then, login to the bulletin board.
  3. Come back to this page, and click on any bulletin board from the list above.
  4. Click on the New Topic button on the right-side of the screen. If you do not get such a page, click here.
  5. You get a page with a button that says Apply for Membership. Click on it.
  6. Clicking on the above button shall send us a mail, and we will approve your membership asap. And once we approve you, you get an email confirming your membership.


For people, who have followed the above steps, and thus are not "first time users" anymore (yay!), you can post whatever you want by following steps 2,3,4 above.

Some info on the various bulletin boards -
  1. The Announcements forum is a read-only forum, wherein important announcements of upcoming events et al shall be posted.

  2. The General discussion forum is where all IGSC members can post...um..whatever they want to post - Roommate searches, Room searches, Furniture sales, yada yada...

  3. The Polls forum is where you can vote on existing polls - like voting for a movie that you want IGSC to screen next. You can even create new polls...

  4. The New students forum is for the new students who have just got admitted to CMU - and for those not so new students who from the goodness of their senior hearts, answer the newfies' questions.


Please Note: If you have problems with logging in, the problem most probably lies with your browser security setting, as the cookies might not be getting stored.
