Ambient Intelligence Lab

Ambient Intelligence Lab is a research group at CYLAB for remote sensing, pattern recognition and mobile computing.

Current projects:

Spatiotemporal data mining (sponsored by NASA) - The objective is to track and predict the movement of ocean objects based on satellite images and field data from sensor webs. The algorithms can be applied to crimalogy, ecology and remote sensing areas.

Sensor web (sponsored by ARO) - We are developing a sensor web for the dual-use applications, such as healthcare and transit security. The sensor web includes wireless self-positioning devices and context-aware video cameras.

Future navigation simulator (sponsored by GM) - We are developing a prototype of the GPS-specific navigation simulator for evaluating digital navigation devices.
