Students will study lighting design in a variety of genres: entertainment design, industrials, architectural lighting, art installations, television and film. Advanced lighting technology will be integrated into the design process. Projects will include hands-on lab work and theoretical designs that integrate a process working with professional companies. Emphasis will also be placed on developing a professional design portfolio. Pre-requisite: Permission of the Instructor.
