(PWR) protest at ALCOA today ; other upcoming stuff

hey guys, PWR and national USAS are doing a
quick action at ALCOA headquarters in Pittsburgh
along with Pitt Students in Solidarity and some
other groups. Rafael Salinas, a leader from their
independent union in Mexico is in town for this
action. It'll be really quick in the middle of
the day, we'll go down, leaflet and present petitions,
get some press attention, and come back. We'll meet at
the UC turnaround at 11:30am and be back before 1pm.
Myself, Alisha, and possibly one more person will drive.

This is part of a national living wage day of
action.
jai is also planning a benefit show in the
underground next semester, if you have ideas
get in touch.
also on thursday the sixth of december at 7:30pm
at the William Pitt union is a big forum of
labor organizers and students, from pittsburgh
as well as from mexico and other places. An
email about this is forthcoming.
And we'll probably do some pro-worker xmas caroling
near the end of the semester. have a good thanksgiving!
