for those interested in the World Bank, International
Montary Fund, WTO, and all of the related global
capitalism issues:
if you are at all interested in going to DC next weekend,
you NEED to be at david lawrence hall at 6:30pm for the
30 minute meeting, if nothing else. there are lots of
other things going on sunday but the most important is
knowing what's going down next weekend.
there will be info on rides, crash space, legal & medical support,
actions, marches, tactics, etc. there will be a variety of
tactics involved and whatever people are comfortable with
participating in is cool, but you MUST be aware.
BE THERE. If you're thinking about emailing
me asking for a ride, GO TO DAVID LAWRENCE at 6:30pm.

----Hey Everyone, Sorry for the short notice. This Sunday (Sept 22nd) from 2:00-6:00 PM at David Lawrence Hall- Kate from the Ruckus Society will be here for a DIRECT ACTION TRAINING! She will be going over all the basics. If you are coming to DC for the IMF protests or you just want to know some more about non-violent direct action please attend.
Reminder, Also Sunday: 6:30 PM- meeting for people taking part in the Pittsburgh Cluster during the Friday Morning/Saturday Afternoon protests in DC. 7:00 PM- Teach-in on the World Bank/IMF. This is the Pittsburgh Stop of the National Teach-in tour put on by 50 Years Is Enough and Jubilee 2000 9:00 PM- March against the World Bank and IMF. March of remembrance for all those who have died as a result of World Bank programs and IMF policies. Bring flags, banners, candles, your voice, and anything else you would normally bring to a large demonstration.
All of these events take place at David Lawrence Hall at the University of Pittsburgh 3942 Forbes Ave in Oakland (Pittsburgh)
