What is FRC?

The main goal of FRC is to expose members to the vast amount of opportunities available for them and to prepare them for future career success. The theme for our conference this year is "Igniting the Torch... Engineering in Action" and we hope that all of your torches will be ignited after having experienced this conference.

    Career Fair

Dozens of technical companies and corporations will be present at this years FRC including: Morgan Stanley, General Electric, Exxon Mobil, Verizon, DuPont, Battelle Memorial Institute, and many more.

    PCI Programs/Workshops

To maximize your NSBE experience at FRC, make sure to take part in the exciting programs and workshops planned for that weekend: Grad School 101, Career Preparation, Mock Interviews, What can NSBE do for me?, Finance 101, Being Black in a PWI, etc.

    Competitions

Over the course of FRC weekend, you will have the opportunity to take part in a number of competitive activities such as the National Academic Technical Bowl (ATB) and the Undergraduate Studies in Technical Research (USTR) program.

    Lodging

Members will be staying in the luxurious Sheraton Hotel located in Arlington, VA just outside of DC.
