About IAESTE United States

IAESTE United States started in 1950 in MIT. Since then, it has grown to include 28 Local Committees, located in prestigous universities across the U.S. Our mission is achieved by partnering with some of the best technical and scientific universities in the country, as well as by providing domestic and international conferences and leadership seminars for technical students and professional members.

About IAESTE CMU

IAESTE Carnegie Mellon serves as a student-run leadership organization on the Carnegie Mellon campus. We provide a more tangible way for Carnegie Mellon students to gain greater cultural awareness through promoting and contributing to IAESTE international programs and hosting on-campus events.

IAESTE International Internship Placement Program
Specifically IAESTE CMU works with the university and local area employers to locate internships for international IAESTE participants. IAESTE LC members then receive reciprocal opportunities to work around the world. The LC is also instrumental in hosting and providing a social network for international IAESTE trainees.

On Campus
The direct goal of our LC is to promote the benefits of international exchange and global leadership on the Carnegie Mellon campus through organized activities, events, and meetings. We most recently host Cultural Etiquette Dinners, Global Seminar Series, and Language Workshops.
