The Alumni Relations and Careers Committee serves the purpose of connecting current CMU students to employers, alumni, and the Career Center resources. We seek to relay all information that we can gather about how to carry out successful job searches and how to best utilize the resources available at CMU. Also, we look to introduce students to recent graduates who are willing to help with full-time job and internship searches.

This committee is generally most active in the winter and spring, when internship searches are most intense. While the job market is certainly no guarantee for any prospective applicant, this committee will provide the tools to discovering what is available on the market and how to best seize the opportunities it brings. As with all other committees, this is open to all students of all majors. It is never too early to consider the job market.

Current Projects:

  • Compiling updated list of alumni contacts
  • Bringing recent graduates to campus to speak about their experiences
  • Disseminating Career Center events to student body
