My name is Zinan Lin (林梓楠 in Chinese). I am a fourth-year Ph.D. student at Electrical and Computer Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University. I am part of Cylab. I am fortunate to be advised by Giulia Fanti and Vyas Sekar. I am interested in the theoretical foundations of machine learning (especially Generative Adversarial Networks, or GANs), and the applications in privacy, security, and networking.

Prior to joining CMU, I received the BE degree from Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China, in 2017.
