Important Files
Loss here will result in loss of data that is either impossible or
really hard to regenerate.
- /usr/var/spool/imap - usually where user data is
located.
- /var/imap/mailboxes - file with imap mailbox information.
- /var/imap/quota - directory with users quota info.
- /var/imap/user - directory with user subscription
info.
- /var/spool/mqueue - incoming mail spool
Loss the srvtab may be a pain /var/imap/srvtab. Any
cached tickets would no longer be valid.
Heavy Access
Best to symlink /var/imap/proc to a /tmpfs
partition to avoid fs overhead.
/var/imap/deliverdb - if duplicate delivery
suppression is turned on.
