2.0 Standup Process

The "standup" process is to help the Architecture Group quickly discuss or "triage" topics. We will meet at least once a week. People traveling are expecting to be able to call in for these meetings.

  1. General discussion items are sent to org.acs.architecture. Items can be classifed as follows:
    • CONSIDER - Items for consideration or to keep in the back of your mind. The poster does not believe it is worth discussing at the meeting at this time but others should be informed. Other members of the Archticture group may decide to escalate this item to AGENDA.
    • AGENDA - Item should be discussed but at this point is not a high priority item.
    • CRITICAL - An immediate meeting for this topic is required. A separate meeting may need to be called.
  2. There will be weekly "standup" meetings to discuss these topics.
  3. We will rotate who becomes the note taker.
  4. The note taker will take the discussion items posted to the bboard, create an agenda, and post that to the bboard no later than 2 hours before the meeting. Since we rotate note takers, they can arrange the agenda to make their issues come first to ensure they get discussed.
  5. The first part of the meeting is to approve the meeting minutes from the last meeting. The note taker is responsible for posting last meeting's discussion will be posted to org.acs.architecture.notes.
  6. At the end of the meeting, the note taker will be sure to note that items were not covered in the agenda and post the meeting notes to org.acs.architecture.
