I like stopping in here to grab a few side dishes for $4 apiece sometimes when I'm in Midtown. I don't even eat the montaditos but the side dishes are great. Service is average at best and cashiers are sometimes inattentive. Plenty indoor seating and a few tables outside too. Great location.

Wow. Awful, just awful. From the terrible service to getting the wrong order to their food giving me food poisoning....a HORRIBLE experience on every single level.I would go back there again but I'd have to order for two people. One for me and one for the guy holding a gun to my head because that's the ONLY way I'd ever return.

This quick breakfast/lunch spot was recommended to us by my brother in law (he used to live in south beach). Sandwiches and smoothies are so okay! I def recommend the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich, the terminator sandwich, the bora bora and flamingo smoothies. It's very casual- completely open-air with just bar style seating. When it's hot- they have the misters turned on. We came here twice during our 4 day stay in south beach. Nothing exceptional but recommend this spot for a quick bite!

I hate writing bad reviews, specially on places I love to eat at. I've been going to 100 montaditos for many years and have never had a problem, service is great and food amazing, unfortunately tonight Friday may 8 we had a terrible experience.First of all the service was bad, the cashier seemed like she didn't care about anything at all, and gave change wrong. Food was cold the cheese on the sauce was fridge cold and other sandwiches were rock hard and didn't have the extra cheese which we payed for, definitely would be checking to see who's in the staff before coming to eat.

This place is AMAZING!! My husband and I ate here twice while on vacation in Miami. We ordered the Tropical signature sandwich both times. I've never had a sandwich quite like it. So unique with the tropical fruits & avocado, perfect for being in Miami. Plus the house made sauce they give you to put on the sandwich was out of this world.
Also, their smoothies are some of the best I've had. So refreshing in the hot weather that is Miami.
I also love the set up with the outside seating at the bar. It completely feels like you are at the beach. The food comes out extremely fast and the workers are very friendly.
      Seriously this place is awesome!

You basically go in and sit wherever you want. Whenever you are ready, you can go to the counter and order however many sandwiches you'd like. They range anywhere from 1-3 dollars depending on what you get in them. . They're served with chips and you can get a soft or hard drink to accompany them. It does become a little pricey but you kind of forget about how much you're paying if you order a few sandwiches at a time, plus the food tastes very good so you kind of forget how much everything costs. I'd definitely recommend the dessert sandwiches with Nutella to anyone who likes sweets. Or chocolate. Or Nutella. Or food. I'd stay away from the olives. They left a weird spongy residue in my mouth and tasted like they were old. Not sure if this is what Spanish olives are supposed to taste like but it was not pleasant for me.

WORST FOOD, WORST SERVICE . I was staying in the hotel and the first night when we came back home for the night I made the mistake of ordering from the bar . I was tricked into the free shots scheme they use to reel everybody in. I ordered two chicken quesadillas  and two cups of lobster bisque soup. Not only was it the most expensive meal on the trip , it was the worst meal on the trip as well. They add on a service charge that they don't inform you of. I am in the service industry , I always too I just don't like feeling like I'm getting ripped off when I go out to eat. Plus I ordered this to go at the bar they weren't even serving me !!!! BAD FOOD ..... And when I questioned the service charge for my TO GO food , they just sat around and spoke Spanish to EACHOTHER , ignoring me, couldn't care less!

I am absolutely satisfied with my breakfast experience here. What pulled us in was the free mimosas and free shots offer but our server was the deal breaker! Awesome guy, gave my husband and I both two free mimosas and two free shots of patron. If you eat here ask for George he'll take great care of you!

After reading about how this place was rated as the worst restaurant in America, I decided I had to see what was going on. Surely the stories had to be exaggerated, right? Turns out they were not. I went with a couple friends, and we left about 3 hours later still hungry and completely unsatisfied. The wait staff were either over the top rude or nowhere in sight, and the food was bland and overcooked. How this place stays open is beyond me, but do yourself a favor and stay away.

I love this place, because frankly this place could be it's own country and I would LIVE THERE! The rice isn't just rice. Oh no no no...it's like a collection of magical morsels of mesmerizingly majestic magnificence. Money comes and goes, but a great meal, in a great ambience, with great people lasts forever. Ultimately memories are what we live for, and this place provides them. I take back what I said earlier about the name - they should change it to the "Mastercard" cafe... because this place is PRICELESS!
