Shashank Sripad

PhD Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University advised by Venkat Viswanathan. His academic research focuses on modeling, simulation, and testing of Li-ion and Li-metal batteries for electrified terrestrial and aerial mobility systems.

His research has been published in Journal of the Electrochemical Society, ACS Energy Letters, Journal of Chemical Physics, Nature Energy, and other scientific journals. His work has been featured in WIRED, MIT Technology Review, Forbes, Quartz, Reuters, Axios, Washington Post, and other media outlets where he also regularly critiques developments in the electric mobility and Li-ion battery space.
