Project manager. Investigating how computer users perform image searches in personal digital image collections or public image collections.

 

Intel Robot for Elders

Sep '08 - present

Collaboration with Intel Research team to make the domestic robot that assists with aging in place. Developing scenarios based on robot capabilities and elders needs, and designing touch-screen interface to support communicating scenarios to robot.

 

Smart Bag (Smart Home Project)

Advisor: Professor. John Zimmerman

Jun '08 - present

Project manager. Investigating how families use athletic bags as an organization tool to help manage coordination around children’s enrichment activities. Currently building an intelligent bag that provides better support by sensing its contents and communicating when something is missing.

 

A Health Care System for Families

Designing a healthcare system that helps families manage their lives and health by keeping their medical history and prescribed medication schedule. Looking at new product opportunities related to smart home technologies.
