Innovation Priority: Continue to work on innovation
ideas from last year
- IOL continues to be expanded including
more INFORMS information and publications. There is an URGENT need for
more Associate Editors for Mike Trick. Specific areas where he would like
help include IOL aesthetics, job placement,
and INFORMS prizes.
- Survey results on member preferences regarding electronic publishing
are in and Bean has performed an initial analysis. Bullen will continue
to examine the data. In addition, we have input from the librarian of the
ACM indicating that it is imperative to move to electronic publication
of journals.
- The formal review of ITORMS is underway and through this, we hope
to better understand the ingredients for success in an electronic journal.
