I would like you to summarize an article from the journal Interfaces
which is available in the Hunt Library. The journal publishes
articles on the application of decision science techniques to support
decision making in organizations. The summary should address the
following points.
- What are the goals of the decision support system?
- What are the work practices supported by the decision support system?
- Is the system designed to support an individual, a group, or an organization?
- What are the types of modeling/decision technologies employed in the decision support system?
- What kinds of data are used and what are the types of information technology employed in the system?
- What are your opinions about the decision support system? What sort of changes would you make to the DSS and why?
