The Chapter Secretary is responsible for all the public relations that occur between the CMU chapter and other organizations and businesses. Directly responsible for Telecommunications and Publicity Chairpersons as head of the Communications Zone. The Secretary also takes minutes at e-board and general body meetings. The Secretary also maintains the NSBE Mailboxes and E-mail accounts and maintains the cleanliness of the office.

Brett is a hard-working individual who is striving everyday to achieve his lifetime goals. Brett realized at an early age that he would want to become an engineer because mathematics was always his favorite subject.

Brett is working to attain a degree in computer science. He chose this major because he wants to make new technology that can cause advancements in everyday life. He is also striving to attain a minor in Music Technology that way he can tie in two of his personal interests(programming and music) into one career. Before becoming Chapter Secretary, Brett served on the board as publicity chair for the 2008-09 school year.
