"Rhapsodic Groove" was commissioned in loving memory of Dr. James Garnick (1971-2019), by his sisters and mother for the Desert Echoes Flute Ensemble (DEFproject). He was a valued member of the DEFproject at Mesa Community College, Phoenix, AZ. James tragically lost his life in a car accident at the age of 47.
