1) Install ActiveBPEL from ActiveEndpoints.

   a) Tomcat should already be installed. 
      My CATALINA_HOME is set to C:\Tomcat_5.5
      
   b) On Windows, Start then Run.You'll need a Heinz ID and password. 
      \\thunderbolt.heinz.cmu.edu\Lobby\Software\ActiveBPEL

      On Mac, Finder then Go and Connect to Server. 
      smb://thunderbolt.heinz.cmu.edu/Lobby/Software/ActiveBPEL
      
      The USER ID is heinz\abpel and the password is 
      $evab8Ke

   c) Copy the contents of the thunderbolt directory to your own
      directory.

   d) Unzip the AB_Enterprise and ActiveBPEL_Designer zip files
      to normal directories.

   e) Run the AB_Enterprise-Tomcat program.
      We will not be saving our process state and the database
      is a little tricky to configure. Skip the database options.
      Only do the installs associated with the Enterprise
      Engine for Tomcat. You'll need your license key that is
      found in the same directory as the engine.

   f) Run the ActiveBPEL_Designer tool. You will not need the license 
      key until you actually run the designer.

2) Complete the first 10 parts of the Active Endpoints 
   BPEL Tutorial. The tutorial is available on start up.

3) Modify the LoanService so that it always approves 
   anyone whose first name is your name.
   In all other respects, it behaves as described in 
   the tutorial.

4) Your new service must be deployed to Tomcat and 
   demonstrated with the ActiveBPEL Tutorial Test 
   Client shown on the Active BPEL slides.

5) Turn in screen shots and your final BPEL document.
