REFERENCELilith Bailey-Kroll came to Pittsburgh five years ago to pursue a graduate degree at Carnegie Mellon University. She is originally from San Francisco, where she first began studying yoga over ten years ago. She has taught locally in the Pittsburgh area at Breath Yoga Studio, Fitness Yoga, Yoga on Center, and Carnegie Mellon University as well as internationally in Berlin Germany, Tokyo Japan and the Ocho Rios Girls Soccer league in Jamaica. Lilith has been studying yoga for over ten years and began teaching in 1999 after completing a two-year teacher training program at the Iyengar Yoga Institute of San Francisco. Kathy Alef, a Certified Intermediate Senior Level III Iyengar Yoga Instructor, has been her primary teacher since 1997. Lilith has helped clients with a range of issues including but not limited to: general upper and lower back pain, high blood pressure, carpal tunnel, sciatica pain, sacroiliac joint pain, stress, depression, eating disorders, inflammatory bowel disease, arthritis of the knee and shoulder, slipped disks, flat cervical curve, and scoliosis. Testimonials It was wonderful! Trouble areas were
isolated and worked on, the results were noticeable after the session. There's
a long way to go, but this seems like a match made in heaven. I'm ecstatic and
want to continue with the private lessons for sure! Thank you for all of your
help. Thanks for your great instruction. I
am decidedly less pain ridden and have a much greater understanding on how to
improve. Anyone that sticks with your class gets to experience your sharp eye
for what is going on in someone’s body. Oh gosh, the class was great, you have
a very nice studio. Lilith, in a word, is brilliant. She has that eccentric passion
for what she does. Most importantly, she can articulate the elements of positions
that help her students move easily beyond where they thought they might go. |
