Welcome to my Summer 2020 homepage! My name is Lawrence Jang, and I am a CMU sophomore studying Statistics and Machine Learning from Athens, Georgia. Although the novelty coronavirus may have not brought the summer I expected, I found many positives in my quarantine-stricken summer. I was able to reconnect with my hometown friends and spend valuable time with my family in Athens. My family decided to spend the end of the summer in South Korea, where I was able to explore the city of Seoul and its many restaurants with my brother. I was able to gain a new appreciation for the importance of family and the value of the time I am able to spend with them!
