As I was able to experience a multitude of dishes this past summer, I captured my top 3 favorite meals!

1. Spicy Potato Stew (Gyeonggi-do, South Korea)

food1

This spicy potato stew is a traditional Korean dish that uses a bevvy of ingredients; notably, it includes pork, kimchi, mushrooms, and potatoes. It is one of my favorite Korean meals and is always one of the first dishes I make sure to eat at our family's regular place outside our grandparents' house. Rating: (10/10)

2. Rodeo Street Anju (Gangnam, South Korea)

food2

I had this dish at Korea's famous Rodeo Street, where Koreans gather at night to enjoy the great food and night life. This dish had the most juicy and tender steak combined with eggs, tomatoes, and sausage on the side. This dish was served alongside a bowl of ramen, but the steak dish easily took the cake. However, a lack of vegetables bumps the rating down from being a perfect 10/10. Rating: (9/10)

3. Howling Chicken Burger (Gwanak-gu, South Korea)

food3

The Howling Chicken Burger is only a five minute walk from my Dad's place; needless to say, I was a frequent customer. The options of Nashville popcorn chicken, cheese fries, and the 5 dollar spicy chicken sandwich makes the food a can't miss commodity. The food is always top quality; however, they do lack in versatility for those who may want something other than chicken. Rating: (8/10)
