Children’s Internet Appreciation and  Application  Learn to use the Internet as a tool as well as game playing fun.  Pre-registration is required and there is no cost.  Three sessions.  Maximum class size is 10, familiarity with the internet required.  Meet in the Children’s Room.
10:00 am – 3:00 pm Individual and Group Musicians from Peters Township School District will perform throughout the day in the library’s rotunda.
10:00 am – 3:00 pm  Scavenger Hunt  Locate 13 different areas of the library and earn a prize. All ages may participate at any time throughout the day.

Family Storytelling by members of Storytellers
 Unlimited in the Business Reference Area.  Two sessions.
10:00 am – 2:00 pm Bookmark Craft   Stop by our craft table to personalize your own bookmark.  All ages are welcome from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.  Meet in the Teen Center on the second level.
10:30 am – 11:30 am Book Signing   Local author Thomas Neil Zacoi will be signing copies of his book “Intelligent Trouting.”   This fascinating, practical and authoritative book combines instruction with personal anecdotes and profiles of fly-fishing’s pioneers.  A welcome addition to any library, it is sure to delight both the novice and seasoned fisherman.  Mr. Zacoi will be located near the plantings in the library’s rotunda.

Tales for the Eating   Come hear a silly children’s story or two and then help to make a nutritious snack that you can eat here or share with your family. Pre-registration is required and there is no cost.  Classes 1 & 2 are for ages 3 ½ - 5 with an adult: class 3 is for ages 6 – 12.  Meet in the Multi-Purpose Room.
1:00 pm – 2:30 pm Internet Help  Having trouble getting started on the computers? A Library Science graduate student from the Dept. of Library Science, Clarion University will be on hand to demonstrate the use of our computers and answer your questions. Meet at the computers on the second level.
