Energy transfers:
0: Pour in water to initiate siphon
1: Water draining from one cup to release tension on rubber band
2: Rubber band pushing marble
3: Marble triggering mousetrap
4: Mousetrap pulling pin to drop weight
5: Weight pushing down lever to release balloon



0: Pour in water to initiate siphon

We pour water into the cup until the water level exceeds the top of the tube. This initiates the siphon.



1: Water draining from one cup to release tension on rubber band

As the water drains, the cup will rise from the tension of the rubber band.



2: Rubber band pushing marble

As the rubber band loses tension, it will move back into it's original position, which pushes the marble into the hole.



3: Marble triggering mousetrap

The marble rolls down the tube and hits the mousetrap.



4: Mousetrap pulling pin to drop weight

The mousetrap pulls the pin holding the weight which causes the weight to drop.



5: Weight pushing down lever to release balloon

The weight drops into the cup on the lever which pushes down the lever, releasing the balloon.
